Knight Kitchen
Classic Character, Modern Performance
Built in 1900, this iconic home presented unique structural challenges. The kitchen had been updated in piecemeal fashion over the years, and prior framing attempts left the space uneven and unstable.
We removed awkward built-ins and a faux beam that made the room feel cramped. After taking the space down to the wallboard, we reinforced and corrected the framing to create a solid foundation.
From there, we built a state-of-the-art kitchen that honors the home’s historic charm. Custom cabinetry with integrated amenities — including a foot-operated faucet — delivers both beauty and performance. Improved flow and sightlines create a welcoming space for cooking and gathering.
The finished kitchen blends timeless character with modern function, anchored by craftsmanship that ensures it will serve the home for decades.
